"Providing leadership on major
issues shaping the organization, delivery, quality, and financing
of post-acute rehabilitation services across all post-acute settings
in the U.S. and abroad."
Our vision is to forge
a national and international network of investigators that will
be viewed as the "go-to" source for innovative ideas and accurate
information on post-acute care. CPS aims to (1) provide reliable
data on post-acute industry trends (2) serve as
a catalyst for new ideas that can advance policy and research discourse
for post-acute services (3) create a
network of willing and committed investigators from around the world
who want to improve the organization, delivery, quality, and financing
of post-acute rehabilitation services through research, publication,
and education, and (4) foster and
implement practice-based evidence studies in post-acute rehabilitation
in order to discover and validate best practices and opportunities
for innovation.
